Harmonious Process Improvement
SCAMPI Class A Training v1.3
The Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) is designed to provide benchmark quality ratings relative to Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) models. It is applicable to a wide range of appraisal usage modes, including both internal process improvement and external capability determinations. SCAMPI satisfies all of the Appraisal Requirements for CMMI (ARC) requirements for a Class A appraisal method and can support the conduct of ISO/IEC 15504 assessments.
The official slides from the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) will be used.
Training includes the use of the state-of-the-art Appraisal tool: The appraisal will be conducted by using an appraisal tool specially developed by Ritmico Progress for the Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI). The appraisal tool is developed to ensure the appraisal will be conducted in a consistent manner and is fully compliant with the Appraisal Requirements for CMMI (ARC).
In addition, the course will also cover experiences gained from past appraisals, how to do well in an appraisal and how to prevent pitfalls.
This is the official 3-day training for Appraisal Team Members (ATMs) on how to perform appraisals using the SCAMPI Class A method.
